FMCA September 2026 Bootcamp & Interchange Meeting

Date: Thursday, September 10, 2026

Location: Winston-Salem / Greensboro, NC Area
(Exact venue to be announced)

One-Day Bootcamp for Credit Professionals

Our September gathering is a one-day bootcamp designed to sharpen skills,
strengthen connections, and deliver industry-specific credit insight you can put to work immediately.
With our larger Education Conference scheduled for May, this event focuses on concentrated learning,
hands-on discussion, and practical takeaways.

Morning Bootcamp: Speakers, Roundtables & Peer Interaction

The morning session sets the tone for the day with a fast-moving mix of expert content and real-world discussion:

  • Expert speakers
Industry veterans and subject-matter specialists will address today’s credit challenges, emerging legal
issues, and the realities facing home furnishings and accessories suppliers as well as the factoring firms that factor for suppliers.
  • Roundtable discussions
Small-group roundtables give credit professionals space to compare experiences, ask questions,
and talk candidly about what is working—and what is not.
  • Meaningful peer interaction
This is not passive learning. It is an active, community-driven environment built around shared insight,
professional respect, and the practical know-how that only comes from years in the business.

After lunch, the energy and conversation flow directly into the FMCA Interchange Meeting.

FMCA Interchange Meeting: Member-to-Member Insight

FMCA’s foundation is simple: Members Helping Members. Our Interchange Meetings
put that principle into action through structured, confidential information-sharing.

Each participating member submits three dealers (retailers or designers) for discussion.
In return, they receive a complete Interchange Packet, including FMCA Credit Interchange Reports for
their submitted accounts and those submitted by fellow members.

These meetings provide more than data points—they deliver context, patterns, and practical insight
based on real member experience. Combined with community networking and peer education,
FMCA Interchange Meetings help credit teams make better-informed decisions, support profitable sales,
and protect their companies from unnecessary risk.
